Mike Bone is the President/CEO of Spectrum Sports Management & Timing Services. Since founding the company, with his wife Bonnie, in 2001 he has focused on creating great work for his clients and a great experience for the participants. Mike is a recognized leader in event management and a seasoned professional in the overall strategy and guidance of sporting events throughout Southern California. He understands the market; the participant; the budget and the goal of the event.

Mike has built Spectrum Sports Management on the strong belief that if you work hard for the project, the client, the athlete, and the community, great results will follow.

This project-first philosophy has served our clients well. Spectrum Sports has achieved consistent growth over the years and is known as the leader in the event management and timing industry in Southern California. The growth and development of Spectrum Sports Management has been led by a roster of the most prestigious sporting events in the Southern California market, including serving as the Race Director the runDisney events at the Disneyland® Resort for over 10 years; being brought in by the PGA TOUR to serve as the “turn around” Executive Director of the PGA TOUR’s Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club; and serving on the Site Selection Committee and then serving as a General Manager of the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles; and a variety of runs and events in the Los Angeles market.

When not working at an event Mike can be found with his wife Bonnie on an adventure trip. Taking along the dogs and sometimes one or both his sons, back-packing, exploring… so many National Parks to visit.
